PowerReports is our very own “home-grown” data logging, reporting and web application development platform. It servers as a spring board for most of our custom web based applications and reduces our time to market for creating robust applications. The PowerReports platform allows us to quickly generate fully functional custom web applications that can integrate a variety of hardware and other external systems with ease.
Being web-based allows PowerReports to be easily deployed as there is no installation or licensing involved. It also has the advantage of working on all platforms and devices including desktop, tablet and mobile devices. PowerReports allows you to monitor and control your sensors, controllers and other devices as well as log process values to a database for reporting or billing purposes.
The PowerReports platform currently supports the following database sources and protocols for communication with field sensors and controllers:

BACnet is a communications protocol for building automation and control networks
Modbus is an application layer protocol for communication with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems
OPC is a software interface standard that allows Windows programs to communicate with industrial hardware devices
Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) is a technical standard for network-based systems that control lighting in building automation
